Development process breakdown
Concept
The concept is what the next release will be about. Concepts by Krokus Autismus are mostly deeply thought through. In attempt to keep the concept interesting. Notes about the concept in mind will be noted in the software called Obsidian. A markdown notepad software package.
Album art
The album art for the next release. The album cover will be, or photograophed, or drawn by hand. No AI is involved in this process. Album covers and art are always edited afterwards in GIMP (photoshop)
Guitar gear
Preparing guitar pedals and adjust them correctly. Also deciding which presets to use per song. This might be done during recording sometimes. New gear may also come into mind. Then this process will take a little longer.
Recording
Process of recording the songs. When there are a number of songs done, I might upload one or two songs to SoundCloud as a sneakpeak and ofcourse open for critics. When this happens, the album cover and the EP/Album title will be revealed. Together with an estimation when it will be playable on streamingservices
Publishing
Publishing the recorded songs to the distributor to make the release available on streamingplatforms like Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music. This process takes up to a whole month.
