So far my most creative and interesting release I published. ANALOG HORROR tells a story about a handful of demons, their victims and a little bit of their origins. Which I want to extend later on.

Development

Development of ANALOG HORROR started halfway december 2024. About half a month after the release of Beugel Ellende. The album was originally named "ANALOG HORROR: SUBJECT 9". Because Subject 9 was the first demon I thought about and thought that would be it. But as more demon ideas came up in my mind which I thought were great ideas to include in the album too, the name changed to "ANALOG HORROR".

Development of the story took from december 2024 until march 2025. In march I also started the recordings for the story included in ANALOG HORROR called "Operation Theater", "Subject 88A" and "A Message From The R.C.C.C.". Before the songs were recorded, The story got minor improvements and changed. Music recordings for ANALOG HORROR started in september 2025.

Demon inspirations

The demons in ANAOG HORROR are inspired by pop culture, like movies and video games, and my own input

Subect 9

Subject 9 is the very first demon I came up with. This demon can infest your home after cremating someone. Because when you cremate someone, you use fire. And fire is hell. The 9 represents the 9 levels of hell as written in Dante´s Inferno.

What this demon is up to:

Learns about the cremated relative
Distorts pictures of the relative
makes fly larvae feast on the ashes in the urn of the cremated relative.
The urn can smell like rotten flesh
It's ultimate goal is to kidnap vulnerable people to their "hell" by imitating the cremated relative.

This demon is completely made up with my own input

Subect 46

Subject 46 is the most gory demon I came up with. Subject 46 possesses humans and changes the behaviour of their cells. It wants it's appearance back to it's true self. And to accomplish that, the physical demon will grow on your body like a tumor, or parasitic twin. It mostly grows on the back. When fully grown, the body has 2 faces, 4 legs and 4 arms. To get rid of this demon, an exorsism is needed and surgery to remove the cancerous mass. Most of the time removal of reproductive organs like ovaries or testicles. Because the demon reprograms the cells that makes gametes (eggcells). That means when the person who has been possessed in the past by subject 46 has intercourse, the future child might become demonic as subject 46 intended to. Twins fused together at the back will be born and both of them would have a condition called Harlequin-type ichthyosis

What this demon is up to:

Change cell behaviour
Grows itself on the possessed host like a tumor
changes cell behaviour that creates gametes/sex cells

Subject 46 is mostly inspired by movies like Malignant, The Thing and a tiny bit of Alien(Romulus).

The number 46 comes from the total amount of genes in the human cells

Subect 88

Subject 88 is a lesser known demon and we don't know very much of it. What is known is that this demon possesses pets and make them suicidal over a course of 2-4 weeks. First the pet feels stressed. Think about wandering around the house and defecating inside the house instead of a specific place where they should do it. When they eventually get suicidal, they will find a way how to. Keep sharp objects behind closed doors and shut all windows. Especially from higher levels.

What this demon is up to:

Make pets suicidal
make pets stressed

The number 88 is rounded from 87,5. Which is the suicidal percentage rate from Losotho in Africa. The country with the highest suicide rate in the world.

Subect 88A

Subject 88A is a demon based on an old school bully of Krokus Autismus and is similar to Subject 88 but applies on humans. This demon hurts toddlers when it notices they don't draw or color neatly on a coloring page. But the most sofisticating thing about Subject 88A is, it gives the victim the vision that they are dragged out of their bed to the basement by a woman and starts hurting them. But in reality she (sleep)walks to the basement herself and hurts herself

In the track Subject 88A you hear a conversation between the scientist and a young child who cannot speak anymore because that "woman" drilled a hole through her skull right into the part of her brains that regulates speech abilities. She can laugh and cry but cannot speak any word and will be silent for the rest of her life.

What this demon is up to:

Make children suicidal
make children hallucinate they got beaten up by a woman. But are doing it all themselves.
